I look at myself as a student of life, with nature as my teacher and muse.

I love nature, and I am constantly observing and appreciating the colors and patterns within it. The complexity of seemingly simple things in the world intrigue me and can be seen in my work. I create a lot of detail within my love for color, texture, and line. By exaggerating the characteristics presented in nature, my paintings grow in an organic manner.

My affection for people is also represented throughout many of my paintings. The unique character in the faces and people bring each piece individuality and sentiment. Painting is my visual journal; a reflection of the world and its effect on me.
